Gout is defined as a metabolic disease marked by a painful inflammation of the joints, deposits of urates in and around the joints, and usually an excessive amount of uric acid in the blood. Uric acid crystals from the joint are breakdown products purines which can be found in lots of foods eaten or consumed by people.
Gout is a disease that causes painful swelling of the joints, especially in the toes. This disease commonly affects the elder people and manifests symptoms such as tightness and redness in the big hands and toes with severe pain due to the swelling.
What are the causes of gout or what triggers this?
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Obesity (excess body weight beyond normal)
- Leukemia (cancer of the white blood cells)
- Genetics (hereditary; genes passed on to generations)
- Alcohol intake (if taken too much)
- Psoriasis (an autoimmune skin condition)
With this information, our goal is to address this issue and solve this medical problem. Here is a list of ways you could use to get rid of uric acid crystals or at least lessen its amount in the blood or joints in a natural way:
In a liter of water, add half of an onion and let it boil. Add some honey after draining the mixture and leave it for 5 minutes. Drink this remedy for at least three times a day.
Extract juice from a ripe tomato and drink it for at least three times a day.
3. MANGO, CARROTS, PINEAPPLE, and STRAWBERRIES
This remedy may be the “tropical” side due to the presence of pineapple in the mixture. In a juicer, put one piece of mango, 4 pieces of carrots, a slice of pineapple and at least 30 grams of strawberries. Drink this juice early in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening if you notice that gout symptoms become worse.
In a liter of water, add at least 30 grams of cranberries and let it boil for five minutes. Strain then drink this remedy three times a day.
For about 10 minutes, boil an ear of corn cob in an enough amount of water. Strain and drink for at least three times a day.
These are just remedies if you want to treat your gout in a natural way. It is still best to see your doctor if symptoms might be worse already.
