That plant? Beets! Beetroot can be eaten raw or made into salads, and while not everyone likes its taste, the health benefits are plentiful!

This salad helps you put all those benefits together!
- 2-3 beets
- 2 onions
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Peel the beets
- Cook the peeled beets in water with a pinch of salt
- Chop the cooked beets into small pieces
- Chop the onions and combine them with the beets
- Pour vinegar and olive oil over the salad
- Season with salt, if needed
- Sprinkle with some vinaigrette and set it aside for an hour
Regular consumption will clean your colon and liver, and improve your vision at the same time! Beets sure are great!
