The Prime Minister of Canada didn’t hesitate before helping a man down a broken escalator.
While the world debates the pros and cons of business tycoon Donald Trump being President of the United States, Canada’s Prime Minister continues to capture hearts as he advocates for those who can’t stand up for themselves, including refugees and even a man in a wheelchair.
On Wednesday, the Liberal leader was in a Montreal Metro station and didn’t hesitate before participating in a random act of kindness. Because one of the elevators in the station is broken, he helped another individual carry a man in a wheelchair down the flight of steps.
Like all world leaders, Trudeau has received his fair share of criticism. However, he routinely inspires citizens in other countries because of his open-minded stance on issues, such as gay rights and welcoming immigrants from war-torn countries.
