Eczema is a skin inflammation characterized by red skin, rashes, and itchiness. Apparently, allergy, irritation, and poor venous return are three of the probable causes of the skin disorder.
It is also known as
- Intense pruritus or itching
- Red and bumped rashes
- Thickened plaques of skin
Soak a washcloth in ice-cold milk and put the cloth onto the itchy area. The procedure is done multiple times daily, as needed.
2. Calamine lotion
It can help with the itching and can also dry out the rash.
3. Ground oatmeal
This could be used as a colloidal bath to sooth itchy skin.
4. Jojoba oil
Jojoba is a liquid wax which deeply penetrates the skin and moisturizes it. Just apply and massage it to the affected area for at least thrice a day.
