The menstrual period takes 28 days to arrive and lasts 3 to 6 days approximately.

Causes of irregular menstrual cycles

Most experts, in fact, consider the thyroid glands as mother glands. This is because this gland is in charge of controlling the endocrine system, metabolism and more. Syndromes such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) can cause hormonal disorder. As a result, you may start to notice certain changes in our menstrual cycle.
Some of the changes that we can perceive are irregular periods or out of date. It can also alter the growth of pubic hair, promote acne and change weight suddenly. Another problem that brings about this hormonal disorder is the well-known “Premature Menopause”. This involves suffering from menopause at an early age.
