We often see lemons being used to make delicious dishes and for whipping up drinks. However, because of the vitamins that lemons are infused with, they can also be used to boost one’s health.
People who want to be healthier typically drink a glass of lemon water every morning. What they usually do is squeeze the juice from the lemons, mix it with water, then drink it. It is believed that this method boosts a person’s metabolism and gives a much needed dose of vitamin C.
However, there is a better method for lemon intake. All you have to do is add a few extra steps to the process that you already know and love.
Here are the things you’ll need before you start:
– 20 oz. of water
– 6 lemons
– Organic honey
The Facebook page ‘Demic’ posted a video stating that lemons, when boiled at night and drank in the morning, could make you healthier in the long run. According to the video, a person needs six lemons and 20 ounces of water and honey for the mixture.
Instead of juicing the lemon, the page suggests using the lemon peel since it also contains nutrients.

A video demonstrates the steps that you need to take. First, slice the lemons in half and throw them into a pot of boiling water. Leave them there for about 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, the lemons and the pulp should be strained from the liquid. Place the liquid in a tea cup along with a spoonful of honey for taste.
The mixture is believed to be able to significantly boost the body’s immune system, prevent common colds, hasten metabolism, cleanse the body of contaminants, refresh breath, and even hydrates the lymph system.
