Onion is not just an ingredient in the kitchen anymore. It is also known to be a source of numerous health benefits and can be used in treatment of many health conditions.
Here are a few ways on how to maximize and take advantage of onion’s health benefits:
For wounds and ulcers, wash the painful area and apply baked onion on it.
If you are dealing with inflamed ear, make a coating of warm baked onion and apply it on your ear. Hold it there for a few minutes.
You can apply baked onion on your skin for treating some tumors.
If you have problems with frequent urination or ulcers, simply chop 1 onion and mix it with 1 tbsp of honey and 2 dl water. Then cook it with a little rosemary, 2 dl of wine and 2 dl of water. Consume 1 tablespoon of the resulting mixture on every hour.
If you suffer from headaches, earaches, swellings and colds, apply chopped onions on the affected area.
