For centuries, numerous cultures around the globe have utilized Epsom salts for their beneficial properties, use for body detox treatments, gardening and in household cleaning.

It is inexpensive and is found easily in your local store. The name comes from the bitter and salty taste of this spring at Epsom, in Surrey, England.

This natural salt is very different from others and has pure mineral compounds of magnesium and sulfate. Both of these offer great heath benefits and can detox your body. Your skin will naturally absorb the salt and remove your toxins.

So What’s the Deal?

When you add epsom salt to your bath water, the salts will stimulate reverse osmosis. This is a process known to help eliminate dangerous toxins and salt from your body. It leaves space for magnesium and sulfate to enter your skin.

Magnesium is especially important because it helps more than 325 enzymes, soothes inflammation, improves the function of muscles and nerves, help blood flow and boost oxygenation through the whole body. It is sulfates that are imperative for skin health, joints and nervous tissues.

The mixture of both sulfate and magnesium remove toxins and aids in building key protein molecules in our brain tissue and joints.

Use of Epsom salt baths are essentially useful in the case for muscle pain, toenail fungus, bruises, gout, sprains, treats pain and chronic diseases, soothes inflammation, regulate the sulfur and mineral balance in the body, and detoxify the body.

Note: Before any usage, pregnant women, those with open wounds or burns, people with cardiovascular diseases and dehydrated individuals should always consult with their primary care physician.

This is how you make an epsom salt bath:
Set your time in the tub for about 40 minutes.

The body will need 20 minutes to allow toxin removal, and another 20 minutes to to take in the minerals in the water.

Filled with warm water, add the epsom salts in he amounts below into your tub:
