As you well know, glyphosate has been linked to cancer, reproductive problems, liver, kidney and skin cell damage, antibiotic-resistance, and more. What if there were an easy label that could help you avoid it, though?
As the Food Babe and others are reporting, that change is coming. The Detox Project has introduced a brand new food label: Glyphosate Residue Free.
As The Detox Project continues working with food manufacturers and grocery chains, you can expect to see it on more products, as well.
The new label offers more transparency than previous labels, as it includes rigorous testing. In order for a brand to get certified, they really have to know that their supply chain is in order, and their products protected, even from unintentional contamination.
Leaf & Love Organic Lemonade was the first product verified, and more are on their way. In order for the labeling program to work, though, we have to convince producers that it’s worth getting certified. So it’s up to us to educate our favorite brands – and help encourage them to get certified as Glyphosate Residue Free.
